Still disturbed by the message he received from his future self, Alec is lying low and doing his best to avoid Kiera. He’s moved out but ignores his mother’s pleas to return home. Kiera has little trouble finding him and they’re soon working together. At a press conference on the City Plaza bombing the Mayor is killed. Carlos and Kiera meet and she wants to operate outside the confines of the police but reconsiders when Carlos tells her that his and Dillon’s jobs are on the line. From the available CCTV footage and with Alec’s help, Kiera quickly finds from where the assassin fired his shots but she isn’t convinced Liber8 is behind it. Meanwhile Travis survives Sonya’s assassination attempt. We learn the contents of the message Alec received from his older self.
