A 155 year old former slave from the Civil War has been traveling in and out of parallel worlds since he was 17 years old, absorbing the energy of serial killers to stay alive and slow down his aging. He saves the life of an 18-year-old boy from certain death, pulling him into another reality where he was never born and begins teaching him how to survive. But their journey will decide if both will be free to live a self-centered life or to risk their lives to save the innocent.
